Bridges Academy was founded to educate children with learning differences such as dyslexia, attention deficits and Asperger’s Syndrome. The school is accredited by the Texas Alliance of Accredited Private Schools for grades 1 through 9. Bridges Academy follows the guidelines of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, but never loses sight of the individual needs of each student. The Academy offers learning different children a safe and caring environment in which to learn. Our teacher/student ratio is 1:4. and  classroom sizes are 8 to 12 students. The Academy's teachers are specially trained in unique and proven teaching methods. Bridges Academy is the only school in EL Paso, Texas, Las Cruces, New Mexico and Cd. Juarez, Mexico to offer curricula specifically created for the learning different student. We work closely with parents,physicians, and therapists in order to provide students with a learning environment that best fits their learning. Our Mission & Goals: Bridges Academy believes that all children with learning disabilities have a right to be educated as citizens of a democratic society. Bridges Academy is dedicated to teaching children with learning disabilities such as; Dyslexia and Attention Deficit in ways they learn. We strive to be the foremost authority in disabilities by reaching out to families, agencies, and communities of the El Paso, Las Cruces, and Cd. Juarez, Mexico areas. Our goal is to provide our students with academic, organizational study skills for success in their continued education once they leave Bridges Academy.
